I suffered about 10 years ago with anxiet/panic. I sought medical help as well as counseling. After several years I thought I had worked through it. Now I have a new problem - I have episodes where I feel like I'm having trouble breathing, which in turn produces a panicked feeling. In the past I felt panicked FIRST followed by a variety of other anxiety related symptons. However, I never experienced the breathing difficulties that I know are often related to anxiety/panic. This time is different. Out of nowhere I start to feel as though my airway is constricted - not so much a shortness of breath but just as though my airway is obstructed in some way. In time the episodes pass, but sometimes it takes a while (maybe a hour or even more). I HATE going from doctor to doctor like I once did, trying to diagnose what's wrong, so I just havent gone this time, but this is really scaring me.

I would appreciate anyone else's thoughts.
