Zoloft anyone? - Anxiety Message Board

I just started taking Zoloft and I am experiencing diarrhea and lack of appetite. Has anyone experienced symptoms like this when starting anxiety meds and did it go away? If so, how long? Or did you change meds? Thank you!

I tried Zoloft once and it was a nightmare. I couldn't live! I had to call in sick to work for a few days. My stomach and mind were a mess, and I couldn't stop spinning. It was AWFUL. I don't know why so many healthcare providers praise Zoloft.

Im on Prozac now, im three weeks into restarting it...and I think it just started to kick in on sat!

All SSRI's have side effects... but Zoloft was the worse for me.

Did you start with half a pill or a whole? My doctor said to take half a pill for two weeks. Since taking it I have had stomach pain, diarrhea and a loss of appetite, but my anxiety is better. Right now it is a tough choice between the pill and the side effects.
