Could this be anxiety symptoms lasting for days?

Okay so here is my story. I have always been a worrier and had some anxiety but usually have no problem dealing with it, I would obsess over it for a day or so then go back to normal. About 5 days ago I woke up with my leg tingling and feeling odd shortly by the end of the day it traveled to my arm and fingers and just kept switching back and forth for days. I went to the drs who said it was probably stress related. The next morning I woke up feeling out of breath and just couldnt knock the wierd anxiety feeling I was having. Within hours I had my first full blown panic attack..peramedics had to be called, hans and feet went completly numb, blood pressure up to 160, it was horrible. After the peramedics left I went to an urgent care and had another attack, it wasnt until I recieved oxygen that I started feeling better. All the while I still have been having the tingling in my hands feet arms etc, shouldnt those mild symptoms be gone by now or can they continue as long as I am having anxiety? Im just worrying myself its a worse condition like MS..so I guess my question is can tingling in your body last for days with anxiety? The tingling is no where as extreme as it was during the panic attack but its still just hanging around even at nightime. Thank You

I'm thinking it probably can. I've had the tingling thing in my left leg, arm, foot but not severe that it was completely numb and I also worried about MS. nd then gone. My advice is go to your family physician and be checked out so they can tell you it's anxiety or you'll continue to worry and your anxiety may get worse ( from personal experience ).
Good luck to you! I'm sure all will be fine.

Yes sounds like stress, i also get tingling a lot in my legs and i am even getting it right now as i type. The more you worry about the worse it gets, i have called paramedics 3 times in 7 weeks and everytime they tell me its anxiety all my symptoms the same as yours.

I know its easy to say but just relax and dont think of the worst. Good luck in manging your anxiety.

Well you have defineitely come to the right board. Anxiety can last for days on end without any treatment. It is our minds that feed it, I have been fighting it for quite some time now, been ongoing for me especially at nights. I get thinking about it, my heart begins to race, my arm starts to tingle. Speak to your physician for sure, sooner the better to begin your treatment if it is anxiety. Good luck we've all been there.
