Loss of blood flow to the head?

I've had anxiety for over ten years now. My heart would jump a little sometimes after consuming caffeine. Now, things are getting worse. Everything, sugar, other foods, moving around, seem to make my heart jump now. Sometimes this jumping is accompanied by brief loss of blood flow to my head. It starting with brief tingling in the head, but has now become painful moments that leave me gasping for air after wards. Has anyone else with anxiety experienced this? If so, what did you do about it(drugs, etc)? I've been to the ER plenty of times and they never found anything wrong with me.

Re: Loss of blood flow to the head?

Yes I had this same problem in the past. I was put on Xanax. Once I knew it was anxiety I just ignored it when it happened (easier said then done I know) but it did slowly get better and went away.

Im still having the heart palps, feels like my heart stops. But this month I did a 24hr holter monitor test and I was fine.
