Rapid heart Beat

Hello, I have been diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I also now have developed BAD insomnia. Can't fall asleep or get a wink in. My heart races while in bed trying to sleep. I am dealing with the depression with Zoloft but can't deal with the insomnia. Sleeping pills stopped working for me and I fear the side effects of their long term use. What to do? Please help me and others like me.

Re: Rapid heart Beat

The zoloft is keeping you awake, the problems i had with it were insommia .

Try remeron , or seroquil (sp?)

Zoloft is excellent for depression , but the sleep issues are bad , All the SSRI drugs i tried caused insommia .
