How can I help my twenty three year old daughter who has suffered from severe anxiety

You might want to expose her to death to show her that it is natural and happens to everyone. Explain that even if she does die it won't necessarily be painful and that many many people have already died including famous people.

if she isn't seeing a therapist you should have her try it out for a while. they'll help hr get to the root of the problem and probably give her some behavioral therapy to help over come it.
