I know how you're feeling. Hang in there. Panic attacks (especially ones that last a long time) can definitely cause residual symptoms like you are having.. I've experienced exactly what you are describing in the past.. I always felt like once "I" calmed down, it took my chest and stomach a few more days.
Like you, I would drink lots of herbal tea (soothing things like chamomile, peppermint, and ginger), and try to keep myself busy and not focused on the discomfort. I've also recently started putting a few drops of essential oil of lavender into a bowl of boiling hot water in my room and laying down and taking deep, relaxing breaths.. I've found that to be very effective - even though you feel calm, your insides haven't calmed down yet!
