uncomfortable in my own skin

I don't know if this is anxiety or not but I have a lot of trouble all day long just feeling uncomfortable anywhere I go. I feel my stomach tight, have heat waves come and go, feelings of doom and tension, just feeling like no matter what I do I am uncomfortable somehow. Sometimes its shortness of breath sometimes its a deep gut feeling sometimes its sweating because of heat waves but I always feel uncomfortable. What do I do?

Re: uncomfortable in my own skin

It sounds to me like anxiety, but I would schedule an appointment with your doc just to rule anything else out. If you find that it's just anxiety, then maybe they can give you something to take for it, or perhaps some therapy would help. Good luck! Fox

Cool Re: uncomfortable in my own skin

Sounds like classic anxiety symptoms to me. Like Foxxii says, go see a doctor and get a physical. Chances are 99% that you're fine. They may want to put you on an SSRI and/or a Benzo to calm you down.

Good luck.

Re: uncomfortable in my own skin

The only thing thats really helped me in the past has been a drug called dexedrine used for ADD and Narcolepsy how do I get a doctor to give me that again? it really helped more than you can imagine like I didn't even need a benzo after that stuff
