Red face Please help......Zoloft and shaking, etc.

Hi all.

I always know I can count on you all for help. I was on generic Celexa and switched over to generic Zoloft about 3 weeks ago due to the Celexa did not seem to be working out to well.

I am having some bad side effects with Zoloft (Generic) like severe shaking of the hands, and sweating of the hands and feet. Also I feel like I could jump out of my skin! I am on 50mgs. Will this go away? I am going to the doctor soon but wanted to come here first for guidance. Should I give it more time or go back on the Celexa, for that is the one that I did not notice such bad side effects. This Zoloft is scaring me, but want to know should I give it more time???????? I feel like a shaky drunk.............and want to pounce out of my skin.............please advise.............I want to make this work for I know right now I need medication..............lots of family stress, etc. And it won't get any better unfortunately. But trying to be positive and STRONG................please help................what should I do? Stay on it for a bit more or go back to the Celexa? I am also taking Klonopin AS NEEDED but don't want to take to much of it..............and also one more thing......did anyone have any water retention in the face or hands?

God bless you all, I don't know what I would do without this site and the Wonderful people on here..........

God bless and so waiting to hear from you all...........

Re: Please help......Zoloft and shaking, etc.

Well, I had shaking and jitters when going back on Zoloft but it went away after a few weeks. I'm taking 100 mgs. I take the generic Sertraline. Take more of the benzo to counteract the shaking. I've never had water retention.
