Missing a dose of medication - how soon after do you experience symptoms?

I missed a dose of my Seroquel the other night and my anxiety crept back up on me after a good 4 months of stable and peaceful living. I was wondering how many of you have accidentally missed a dose of medication and have suffered symptoms immediately afterwards.

anybody?

Re: Missing a dose of medication - how soon after do you experience symptoms?

I do this ALL the time. Because the meds really help me out, it's easy for me to get careless with taking them every day because I feel fine.

If I skip a dose I normally start feeling off the following day. I get dizzy, which at first freaked me out a bit which caused anxiety. Now I'm more used to it. It doesn't feel good when it happens but it doesn't make me feel too anxious either any more.

I missed my dose yesterday and it was a big mistake, I did actually have anxiety symptoms this morning and almost a panic attack which hasn't happened in months. Other factors played a part but having not taken my meds the day before wouldn't have helped one bit.

I take Lexapro which I think my doctor said only stays in your system for 24 hours or something so yeah. I'm not sure about other medications.
