Re: Anxiety

Hi,
I don't have this problem myself but was wondering did something happen in the past after a meal to make you feel like this.
As a child I was alway's anxious at meal times as I was a slow eater and the rest of the family would finish before me.
If we ate out it was worse as I thought they might finish and go without me which I hasten to add they never did.
Usually there is something to cause anxiety and can be associated with something that happened at that particular time,

Solofelix.

Re: Anxiety

thank you very much for your reply. I think the problem is fisically, not emotionally. when I have meal and feel that my stomach is full, anxiety starts. sometimes anxiety can be tolarated, but sometimes its very serious with bleching, acid reflux with chest pain.

Have you seen your Dr about this and what did he say.
It's possible you need an Endoscopy to see what is causing reflux and chest pain.
I have a Hiatal-Hernia and many stomach issues along with IBS and can suffer the same symptoms as you.
I discovered that Anxiety can trigger stomach problems and stomach problems can trigger Anxiety.
If OTC medication dosent help then it's time to see your Dr, just a prescribed PPI is probably all you need and if that doesn't help then medication for the anxiety may help.
I wish you well,

Solofelix.
