Feedback On Some Supplements - Anxiety Message Board

Hello,

I have a problem with anxiety mostly caused by social anxiety and I became interested in two products that I would like to try but first I want to know if anyone has tried them. The first product is called Adapton ( also called Stabilium) and it's an extract of a deep blue fish called garum armoricum. It's marketed for anxiety, depression and chronic fatigue syndrome. It's said to replace valium and xanax. Has anyone had any experiences with it? The second supplement I'd like to try is the herb Rhodiola Rosea. It's an adaptogenic herb from Russia that increases energy, vitality, immune system and is supposedly great for anxiety and depression because it boosts levels of dopamin and serotonin. Has anyone tried it? Thank you !

I will let you know...promise. I will first try Adapton because they have it at my health food store ( actually they have Stabilium but it's the same...different name, same product). It's supposed to be the best natural supplement for anxiety but I don't know if it will do anything for social anxiety. On the other hand, Rhodiola Rosea increases dopamin which is said to play a big role in social anxiety. Maybe the combination of Adapton with Rhodiola will be the perfect cocktail for me...I'll have to see and I will let you all know.

I have tried rhodiola before. It gives you alot of energy, but it isnt good for anxiety- it made me alot more irratible actually.
