Touching neck during attack
Often when I'm having anxiety/panic attacks I touch my neck as it feels like I'm having a hard time breathing. I know this is caused by the attack, and I also think that a lot of people experience this sensation. However, does anyone else constantly touch their neck during the attacks? My fiancee is noticing it a lot and always asks why I'm touching my neck, and although I tell her why (and she at least pretends to understand) for my own sake, I would like to know if anyone else feels the need to touch their neck (or sometimes ears and face) during an attack and/or does anyone know why this happens?
