hello everyone. I started taking paxil like 4 or 5 months ago. I really thought it was a life saver. I was sufferering from depression and anxiety. For the past few weeks, it seems like the medicine is not working well anymore. I am probably getting depressed because i'm falling into my old self. I really dont like going to doctors, phsychologists etc because i feel like a loser, not normal etc but i know i probably will have to go. At first i thought maybe i'll lower my dose.. i cut my pills in half so they were about 12 mg instead of 25. Did that for a few days and didnt' notice much, but i'd have to do it a lot longer. I am constantly worrying about figuring out a dose that will work, it's causing me a lot of anxiety. I dont know if i should keep experimenting with taking only 12 mg or not. Whatever i do, i do not want to take anymore than 25 mg. Maybe i'll try a Benzo. Another thing is that the 25 mg's have been giving me gut rot... ewww and it's not fun. I have Irritable Bowl Syndrom so it makes it horrible. I am thinking about getting my thyroid tested... i have a hard time concentrating, forgetful, always hot, and etc. I just had to vent so i'm not expecting replies. Thanks for reading!~
