Nightmares and Prozac - Anxiety Message Board

Since being on Prozac ive been having really horrible nightmares...that sometimes leave me feeling strange for a while afterwards.

im sure this is from the Prozac, i didnt have this problem on paxil. Just wondered if anyone had the same thing, and if theres anything i can do to overcome it..
I dont want to come off the tablets as i cant stand the withdrawal process again.

strong vivid and strange dreams are common from antidepressants
paxil and prozac are the same type, SSRI's
if the paxil was helping, maybe go back to it
if the paxil wasnt helping its usually best to try another type
