tight feeling in my stomach - Anxiety Message Board

Sometimes at night about 6 or 7ish....I get a really tight feeling in my stomach and a kind of a restless uneasy feeling,not every single night,If im out doing something then Im ok but if Im just sitting at home then I get that feeling,what is it and how can I make it go away?

its probably anxiety but see a doc about it

relaxing with deep slow breathing helps reduce anxiety

Hello Burtonbabe,
Do you notice this feeling after taking a sleeping aid or anything? Sometimes I get that tight restless feeling in my stomach if I take a tylenol p.m. on an empty stomach.

It could also be restless anxiety too. A calming med could possibly help.
