Sounds like you have pretty strong anxiety. The good news is there is hope and it may not even require meds. I was on meds for years until I learned about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and it has dramatically changed my life and I am off all meds now. You said money was tight so you may want to look for a CBT based support group in your area. I'm in one here in Southern Cal and it does not cost anything. You may also want to pick up a copy (or see if you can find it in your local library) of "Been There, Done That? Do This! by Sam ***** it's a great overview on the whole CBT process from the point of view of someone who suffered for many years before discovering CBT. Hope this helps and hang in there!
