View Full Version : Should I switch?

For about 3 years, I was on Orthocyclen and had a great experience with it-- no break outs, mood swings, or breakthrough bleeding. When my boyfriend and I broke up, I got off of the pill, but had to get back on two months later with the arrival of a new (unforeseen) boyfriend.

At the SAME TIME as getting back on Orthocyclen, I took Plan B emergency contracption. Ever since then, I have had major breakouts on my face!

It's been about 4 months since I got back on the pill, and I still break out (though not as bad thanks to a dermatologist). However, I'd like to see things as they were without a derm's help.

Do you think Orthocyclen will start to work for me again in terms of anti-acne, or should I switch to Yasmine (or something else)?

Thanks!
