my girlfriend was first on alesse, now she's on diane 35, and she's changing to ortho-tricyclin? anyway i read a post on the general health board about a girl that was on otc and she was having really bad mood swings and wanting to break up with her boyfriend because of them or something. my girlfriend is switching pills because she thinks it might be causing depression, would otc be such a wise choice?

Unfortunately, side effects vary from person to person. That's why we keep switching so often. I have found that Loestrin works for me cause it's such a low dose. Have her try something that's low dose if she hasn't done so already and see if that works!!
