My girlfriend told me that there is a missing birth control pill, there should be eleven and there is only 10, I told her that she took it on monday but she says that she should have started on tuestday and took it that day. We are sure that the pill didn't get lost, it was consumed by her, but we don't know when, so maybe she took 2 in one day.

Also she told me that yesterday she forgot to take one and woke up at 4 am and took it, then she took another one at 10 pm which is the same hour she takes it everyday.

Assuming that she took the missing pill one day and then another one that same day, plus what happened yesterday with the 4 am, and 10 pm pills, what would happen, how is protection going?

Also if the pill got lost, what would happen?

I would strongly recommend that you use another form of protection for the next seven days. I would actually recommend that you use alternate protection until she starts her next pack of pills!

What if she didn't miss it but took two in one day?

It's still as effective taking 2 in one day, but I don't know how effective it will be if this happens 2 days in a row. Probably the same, but I'm no doc and I'm not assuming responsibility if you get her pregnant http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif I would suggest, also, that she try another method...I hear great news about the patch. Is that an option for you all?
