Okay I only had enough space for a couple of names, but I am interested in how things are going for all of you.

Autumn(Oh Autumn my Autumn) How are things right now? Sun shining in Canada? Just letting ya know I am thinkin of ya.

Racing...25 days right? Im close if not. How are you? Any symptoms holding on?

Everyone else, Im just curious on how things are going for you and how your holdin up...

I am holding my own, over 1 month opiate free and feeling stronger each day. Fatigue is slowly going away. Sleep, well I expect that to be a problem for a little while. Trying melatonin tonight I think, well see how it goes. Work is...well work, but I only work 3 days this week and then it is off to the beach for 4 days. This board is really my cyber-family now and I just want to see how you all are...ALL OF YOU!

Hi Tim: It's great to hear from you. It sounds like you are well and I am happy for you. I am in arut right now...and where is my name??? LOL Just Jokin!!!

I am on day 2 with no sleep. My BP is high and I am hanging on for dear life. You know? Life is so precious and sometimes we do not realize it till it's too late.

That's why I always manage to say that I care or even luv, because we may never meet again this side of heaven. Stay strong and set the examples you are already doing Tim.

May you prosper and Be Blessed,

Your Friend,

Tim..(Oh Tim My Tim) http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif How ya doing Darlin? Today was sunny and bright and very warm. Life is getting a little easier my friend and I am coming to terms with the loss of my darling Steven. It will be a month since he died on the 17th and I am working on a little poem in his memory. I do alot of writing and I have about 6 poems copyrighted at a site here on the net. My brother sent me pics of my new nephew tonight and he is truly an Angel. Life is so precious Tim and in my sorrow losing Steven I have been blessed with Ben ( my nephew ). I am so happy you are doing well I knew you could do this and I am so proud of you. Keep in touch cuz I missed ya http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif God Bless.
Luv

Risky...sorry about the name, I did not have enough room for everyone. But I have said before that your posts are ones I look for and very much appreciate. I am made to think about things when I read your posts. I do hope you feel better though, and wish you nothing but the best.

Autumn...I am glad things are getting a little easier, well maybe easier is not a good word...coming to terms is more like it. I am glad you had some sunshine. I said in another thread that I dont know if you saw, but I did not even look and see you are from Canada. Have you always lived there? Come to the States often? I have never been to Canada, but had my guitar special made from a company that is based there and use Canadian maple wood for my guitar. That is about the extent of my Canadian experience. But hey, we are both in North America, and both have beautiful geography in alot of places...not here in the central valley of California, but alot of other places http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/wink.gif Just kiddin, the one thing I do love here is the small town feel, it is not tiny but not as populated as LA or even Fresno. Lots and lots of farm land, thus everyone(well not everyone...but alot)has animals...horses, cows, goats, and sheeeeep...baaa baaa. We have 3 horses, 2 paints and a qtr. horse. My sister is the expert on horses and I should really say they are here horses, but I live on 2 1/2 acres so they stay with me. So hope you have a good week, and I would be interested in ready your poems if you would approve. They have an internet site?

Morning Tim
My day (Sunday) was better than Saturday. So right now I am feeling less anxiety. You had asked a question in the topic "day 5" and I responded, I was hoping to get your thoughts on that.

I hope the Melatonin worked for you, I know at times it has helped me.

Congrats to you on 1 month http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Take care and I wish you a good day.

Vicki

The days are pretty much up and down..cant sleep worth a sh*t..feel OK physically..but its mostly the mental fatigue that is still bothering me. Glad to hear you're doing well...but hearing that its been a month and your sleep is still off is killing me!! I cant seem to get more than 4 hours a night! I HATE monday's!!

Hey Tim,

Sorry been real busy. Thanks for the concern buddy. Tomorrow will be day 28 for me, 4 weeks. Doing really well, sleep hasn't been to well, I still wake up every night, usually eat something and get another hour or so. How about you, any new methods or ideas on sleeping? I'm open to anything, I'll do a dam african tribal dance if it might help. By the way, I ran out of trazadones...Did they help you, I think you said you got a script right. They worked for a while, but weren't as helpful at the end. Besides that and the daily cravings, I'm OK, trying to keep real busy, got to see another race this weekend, took the old man with me for Father's day. I'll try to post more soon, glad to hear from you and thanks again for being so supportive and helpful. Peace. Take Care

-Ryan

PS- Been out on the SeaDoos lately?

racing...yeah I tried the trazadone...nothing. Pretty sad, I have tried everything almost. tried melatonin...nothing. Going to try Dramamine(Dr. said it makes you sleepy) and see how that works. Did not take the Sea-Doos out this weekend, went horseback riding and cleaned mowed this weekend. going to the beach Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun. Congrats on 1 month, I know I felt pretty proud of myself for my 1 month...you should to.

Hi Tim and Racing: Sleep is a weird thing and can cause us big problems. IT has me anyway. If I could sleep then I do not feel my pain. So that's what I like about sleep.

On the other hand--sleep brings me into a very depressing mode. What I mean is that as I am lucky enogh from exhaustion to sleep...there are dreams involved and they are not welcome.

They are usaully of death and dying. Or association with others who have died. My dreams freak me out big time. If they do not iclude death then usually about events to come. Very weird.

Most of them do come true. I am not bragging and I do not want this...but I do have a 6th sense. It has been proven over and over. The thing is it only happens when I am not expecting them.

Back to sleep...it's so important especially for any of us who are near exhaustion. I will add more about this topic, as I am very tired now.

Take care all...and try something I try. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzpicture yourself at a beautiful isand or count those fuzzy sheep...lol

Luv to all,

Risky Business http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/angel.gif

Risky,

Keep me informed if you see anything bad about to happen to me! ...or better yet if there is a specific lottery number you think I should play! Take care
