hello. i just found the board this weekend. i was just recently told i have pcos (polysystic ovary syndrom). the moderator told me to post here. so, its has a lot of the same symptons as thyroid disease. at least now i know why my hair is thinning and can blame that for the weight gain too. it also causes a high insulin level so i am now on glucose. any first hand experience out there? please share. if you havent heard of it, check out www. pcos.org or www.pcos.com (http://www.pcos.com) . i have the high blood pressure, obesity, joint pain, high insulin level, brown patches on skin under arms and elvows, skin tags, about all of the symptons.
