I have a question that I hope you guys can help me with. Have any of you ever suffered from a "lump" in your throat and that feeling of something there? I feel it most after sleeping with my splint in my mouth and I think it comes from the position my tongue is in from the deviation in my jaw and the splint. I would love to know if anyone else has this feeling...

thank you so much for the info......Jill

Yes I get it too it feels like something is there even though it isnt. I try having a drink and eating a cracker and swallowing to push whatever I thought it was down and it never worked but eventually went away the longer I was awake. I didnt know it was part of TMJD at that time but since I have it doesnt get to me any more.
