Hi Guys:
I wanted to ask if any of you guys have had a crawling like feeling in your gums near your teeth. Mine has been like this for about 3 days or maybe 4. It is driving me so crazy I want to pull my hair out. It's not like my gums or teeth actually hurt but like there is something in there crawling around under my teeth that I can't get to. I know this sounds gross and I'm sorry but I didn't know any other way to describe it. Any advice anyone can give me will be most appreciated.
Thanks so much,
Tiffany

Tiffany, that is exactly what my wife used to describe to me. Does the Ambien only put you to sleep, or does it also take away the pain? As Cymy Sue has said, a burning pain (if that is where it is going) is due to nerve damage. "Crawly" feelings are usually due to some nerve impingement, which can eventually cause damage.

Hi amateurdoc:
The Ambien only helps me to sleep. It really does nothing for the pain at all. I never thought about nerve damage. I am just getting so frustrated with all this mess and how difficult it is to find help. You would think we were still living in the dark ages instead of a time when doctors and dentists have everything at their finger tips. What did you wife finally do that helped with this feeling. It is driving me insane. I am just hanging on by a fingernail.
