Has anyone ever heard of the Orognathic Bioesthetic International-The Institute for Comprehensive Oral Diagnosis and Rehabilitation? My dentist is training there (he's about half-way through a 2 and a half year training) and he is very excited about it. It seems like many of the other TMJ splints I have heard about--lets your jaw find its proper resting place, etc. Then you get your bite corrected if it works. (Which I'm sure is loads and fun.) I was wondering if anyone has seen a doctor that has studied there, and if so, how it turned out. He says that if it doesn't help taking the splint out will just let the jaw go back to where it was. He has TMJ himself and is using this. He also has tried many splints in the past with no success.
