I donot appreciate that you think I am instilling fear into anyone that is not my objective!!!! I am simply trying to say that not all dentists are knowledgable when it comes to splint therapy and that you should make sure that they are qualified.

Also maybe I wasn't clear.The "Splint" or night guard that my general dentist made wasn't for tmj. (i didn't ask but maybe it was the material or how it was made but it is a fact I am trying to relay ..and not FEAR!!!!!!!
