Does anyone just get so wiped out from tmj? I mean that it is just so draining? I have been so tired lately. I can't seem to move very fast.

As you know already, I am not sure I have TMJD yet.
However, this is one of the crappiest symptoms I have because I am an active person. I went from 195lbs to 222lbs in the past few months because I am to tired to do anything by the time work is over.
I start Softball soon, and I had my first few practises. Thank god it's on the weekends. I know that I come home, and I just pass out I am dead after it.
I have 2 goals. 1 FIND OUT what's wrong with me.
and 2.. HEAL IT!

When do you find out legally if you have tmj?
What are your symptoms besides being tired?
Heather
PS I wish we were in the same country...then we could watch tv together. :)

Hi Heather:
Yes, I am so exhausted all the time that it's all I can do to keep going. I'm just so fed up with it all.

Heather,
I'm sure its possible. Pain can be physically an mentally draining. I know you have had a though time lately. I hope you too are feeling better. I am taking a soma and crashing tonight. If I take 1/2 i'm good. If I take a whole, i'm sleepin. Thank you for caring earlier, hope my response wasn't too overwhelming for you.
Autumn :)
Sorry my spelling sucks tonight...

OK girls, I'm on the tired wagon too. Only problem with my wagon is, it won't stop driving in circles!
:( The tired comes from your body trying to fix itself I think...I'm trying to take more iron just in case I'm anemic from not eating correctly...I think you get more tired when you are less active too...kind of a weird result, but I have more energy when I exercise, so I figure the opposite is true too!
When you're tired, sleep. It's a simple as that. Our bodies are screaming let me rest. Luckily it's Friday and hopefully you guys can relax and rest this weekend and try to gain a little more strength back. My goal for tomorrow is to do nothing more strenuous than watching my husband do laundry! :)
I call it my downtime...everyone needs it to recharge. Our downtime just lasts a little longer...
Hope you all are feeling better today!

Thanks everyone. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one that can't seem to move around here. My whole family is very active doing the day to day stuff. I can last a whole week doing really nothing at all, and feel like I just ran a marathon. I am not suppose to do any other exercise except what my pt perscribes for me. I can make my neck worse, because I bascially use it for everything. I also can't eat anything that I really want. I feel like I am gaining alot of weight this way. Since we are wanting to be pregenant I have been taking my prental vitamins. I feel like I am eating stuff whenever I am hungry, but that means mostly carbs. I also drink a lot during the day.
Autumn, you did not blow me away. I just wish that you did not have to go through everything that you do. It makes since now about your husband. You both are so lucky to have found each other. I understand that both disorders are very difficult by themselves, I can't imagine having them together. Why is your mother not sympatheitic towards him? Does she believe that it is all in his head like with our disorder? My heart goes out to your family. Please keep my updated with you both, I really wish he would come home, but he is not thinking straight. I am so glad that you can see that it is not him, but the disorder. I know that a lot of people couldn't. But on a cheery note, how are your kids doing? I hope you are feeling better today, if not there is always tomorrow. Thank yuo so much for always being there.

I am tired all the time. I sleep all night and sometimes I go to bed when my kids do. All I do is yawn and I feel week.
