Do you get migraines? I did before my first TMJ surgery and they caused me to be nauseous - so bad that I sometimes threw up.

:(I am sorry what you are going threw. I do get migranes. I never had surgery. I wake up with my jaw popping and it really hurts. The doctor told me the pillow I using could be hurting me. Do you have a good pillow you use. Maybe that is part of the solution to my headaches. It does not explain my stomach problems. DO you get cold and chills. I always feel anixety with these symtoms.

I just use a regulor pillow. I havent had migraines since my first jaw surgery that was back in 1998. I've never understood why migraines mess with your tummy but they do.

Im thinking you need a night guard - maybe that would help? They have some at Wal Mart - cheaper than the Dr. (mine cost $500) but I dont know if they work or night. A muscle relaxer (I take Flexerill) may be a good idea too.

I just started getting TMJ symptoms and I am nauseous a lot. Last week I was nauseous every day.

Hey Guys, I'm going to bump up a post I submitted a few days ago on BPPV...a type of vertigo that causes dizziness and severe nausea....take a look...it might answer some of your questions.

Nausea is a symptom of TMJ, at my worst I vomitted several times daily. Only addressing the displacement of the condyles within the sockets will releive the compression on the bundle of nerves at the back of the socket that is causing this symptom along with the others.
