Hey Priscilla, glad to see you are back. How have you been?

I know what you mean, I get the same way, muscle spasms, headaches that floor me and clenching gets worse. The docs put me on the pill to help with all of this (they thought is was migraines at first) but it hasn't helped at all. If you or anyone knows of anything please post it.

Take care, Jill

I think my splint is out of alignment too, I
probably need another adjustment and the pms thing
doesn't help either.

Priscilla, Oh, Yes, Definitely!!! It is so much worse at that time. I think sometimes I get a menstrual headache and that combines with all the other stuff. My specialist just told me today that hormones play a huge role in this and especially for women in the 30's age range. He told me I can look forward to menopause when my hormones settle down. My Mom had an early menopause, sure hope she passed that down to me! Shell

I'm doing ok. My splint needs adjusted also. I see the OS on Friday (Autumns OS). I hope he can help me without surgery. Knock on wood I've been having a few pain free days so I'm happy about that. I'm supposed to see regular DDS this Wed for some dental work but I think I'm going to put that off until I see the OS.

Take Care,
Jill

good luck Jill, I hope he doesn't talk surgery because that's the oral surgeon's specialty. Are there any tmj
specialists where you live? , Im seeing one now.

Hello,

I also find I get worse around time of the month. I've just tried to bump up a topic that covered this. Don't know if it's worked as it isn't appearing. Anyway - put the word 'estrogen' in to the search engine and it will bring up the topic if it doesn't show up on this page.
