Well, the new splint felt really good last night. It is so light that I barely knew I was wearing it. I feel good today and I hope it stays that way. I did take only 1/2 Flexeril last night and will be taking 1/2 tonight. The real test will be when I stop it. I should have a pretty good idea by next week if this splint will work. I remember the oral surgeon saying I needed a softer splint but the orthodontist wouldn't listen. I am glad this dentist decided to make me one.

I read your other post that you are feeling lousy with your virus. I hope you feel better soon. How is Mike today? It does seem we feel alot worse when we get it, but as Mom's we don't catch much of a break. Take care and feel better! Michelle

I'm glad to hear that it seems as though this splint may be the one! Sometimes we have to see many doctors/dentists, to find the right one with the correct treatment for us. I have a feeling this is the answer for you, keep thinking positive, it helps us, believe it or not. You'll probably be well soon, and forget about the rest of us here, sniff. hehe
I still feel all lousy today, but not nearly as bad as yesterday. Tomorrow's a new day, and hopefully a better one! My son's getting over his quicker than I am. (a disadvantage of getting older-our bodies take twice as long to heal!) Well, keep me posted on your progress. Take Care, Cheryl :)
