I went to the regular dentist for a cleaning yesterday and when you was using the spinning tool on my back teeth (near my TMJ) I heard an incredible high-pitched loud noise. It was so bad I had to recoil back and push his hands away.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Yes, not "incredible" but I imagine if I had a dentist with a 'cutta' in my mouth I would rate it so, when I am sitting upright, drowsy(tired), I hear 'alien' whirring churning (like a grinder cutting teeth) loudly in my ears. I am not sure if it is audible externally but could be my wisdom teeth going astray (only 1 showed 2 yrs ago, dunno bout other 3) or some joint slippage??
