I really dislike when people say that they will call
you back and they do not. I ended up calling my dentist
office this morning. The girl I talked to has given me
a name of another dentist. One that has more knowledge
in this field of TMJ dysfunction. I also here that TMJ
is not covered under health insurance. Anyone have any
ideas about that. I guess I will have to set up some
type of payment plan.
My appointment with this dentist is not for another
week. I will have to cancel that other appointment
that I had with my regular dentist tomorrow.
I hope I get some answers soon. I would love to eat
something crunchy, but I cannot. That is where I have
the most pain. The stress is not good either. I am

Hi:
I have heard some people say they could get their health insurance to pay if their diagnosis was MPD rather than TMJ. You might ask if they can list your diagnosis as MPD. It's worth a try.
