I will be seeing Dr. Gary Heir on Monday - in Bayonne, NJ. He came highly recommended from someone. He teaches TMJ/Orofacial pain at the NJ Dental and Medical School and has written extensively on it. The consult fee is $225 (and my insurance doesn't cover TMJ).

that I was thinking of going to, wow small world!!!

I don't know anyone who goes to him but he did seem to have credentials in the tmj field which is good, Remember A good diagnosis and evaluation is very important before any treatment is discussed.
