Hi Scaredgirl!
You are very welcome!
Oh yep, I had the fullness in my head, like the pressure was off in my head, like taking off in an airplane. Kind of hard to explain it though. Here is a list of most of the symptoms I had:
Fullness in right ear
Ringing in the ear
Pain in the ear
Pain, right side of my face,
Numbness right side of face, running down jaw line to right corner of lip.
Shoulder/neck pain
Dizziness
Vertigo – queasy stomach when that happens, not an upset stomach, just queasy.
Eye Pain
Sensitive to light
Sensitive to noise
Droopy eye, right eye
Headaches, forehead, all over head
What I thought were sinus headaches
Ghost tooth pain, back upper right, sometimes spreading to lower back teeth but not as strong.
Right lymph feeling swollen
Crackling sound in ear
Crackling sound in neck
Watery eye – right one only
Blood shot eye, right one only
Problems with vision in right eye
Temple area pain.
Soft food diet as eating hard things really irritates and makes symptoms worse
Jitters – controlled by no longer taking tylenol
You can get your life back, I did and I didn't think that would ever happen. Check our neuromuscular dentists, that is who helped me
Take care
Diane

THANK YOU so much Diane for all the reasurance! Your symptoms sound aot like mine! I am amazed. I never had a problem before with my TMJ and then I got lymes disease about 5 yrs ago, Now 31 yrs old and I noticed alot of these symptoms. Then I had two wisdom teeth pulled and I think that's what put me over the edge! They say lymes affects joints, and Tmj is a joint.
I had seen a dentist who specializes in TMJ and I copuldn't believe the symptoms he was telling me was just what I was feeling. ALL these years DR.'S didn't know why I was having these headaches or balance problems. they blamed it on stress and anxiety which I have now developed over the years from not knowing.
I am happy to know that there are people as yourself who are recovering, It gives me nothing but HOPE that one day I shall too! I am getting marred in 2 months and the stress and anxiety of that does make it worse for me. so I am trying relaxation things to help ease the stress cause mine does act up more during stress. I live in NY I don't know if the doctor your speaking of works here. May I ask what kind of treatment you had from the chiro?
Thank you again for your insperation!
scaredgirl...not so scared anymore!

hey scared girl. (i can relate to your name!)
i also have the massive ear problems your talking about. i have no jaw symptoms at all, just headaches, eye aches and a sensitivity to artificial light. my ear symptoms are what kill me! i feel like i've been drugged, like reality just slipped away from me.
you definatly came to the right place. you may also want to check into the Inner Ear Disorders board and see what everyone has to say in there. hope you start feeling better soon.

Good morning scaredgirl -
Oh, I am just thankful you find the information helpful!
Okay, There are several on this board in the New York area seeing a Barry Cooper DDS. You may want to check him out or asks some questions from other board members.
After starting my treatmet with my neuromuscular dentist, I had some immediate relief to the vertigo/dizzeness/nausa but not completely. He set me up with a chiro who then adjusted my first rib, now I would like to point out that not all chiros adjust the first rib, so you may need search one out. She of course did other adjustments as well but just as soon as he adjusted that first rib, I was vertigo/dizzeness free. I am now back to driving again, not being fearful of having a spell.
It really urks me that these dds & drs say it is due to stress. Well, dang it the stress is coming from not knowing what is wrong with us, and it just feeds on itself.
There is help out there, I really hope you have just as much luck as I have had!
Have a good day
Diane
