Hi Diane,
I am just starting treatment with a neuro dentist and a chiropractor. The chiro I am seeing does what is called Acitve Realease Therapy. Do you know anything about that and would that treatment include adjusting the first rib? The reason I am asking is because what I consider the worst symptom for me is the imbalance and brain fog.
Thanks,
Grace

Hi Grace!
Congratulations on seeing both a chiro and neuro dentist, I hope your treatment is as successful as mine :0)
My chiro does several treatments on me, my favorite one though was adjusting my first rib. It immediately took care of that brain fog, vertigo/dizzeness/nausa. It was unbelievable. I can not believe how much it helped me Grace. I was getting clumsey (sp). Not anymore.
Not all chiros know how to adjust the first rib, I was lucky in finding one who does.
You have a good day Grace and let us know how it goes!

Hi Diane,
How did he/she adjust your first rib? Did they do by cracking an area of your back?

Hi Grace -
She only has had to adjust my first rib 2x. Right at the very start of being adjusted. From what I remember she had me lay on my side, but can't remember what actual action she did to adjust it.. Sorry
Hope you are having a good day

Hi Diane:
Would you mind explaining to me a bit about adjusting the first rib? I have not been to a chiro but if adjusting the first rib would help with the dizziness/brain fog I might consider going to one for awhile. What should I ask when I call chiros offices?
Thanks,
Tiffany

Hi Tiffany!
How is your splint doing? Still okay?
Okay, when you call, you just need to ask if the Chiro adjusts the first rib. I guess it is a difficult one to learn. But oh boy, does it work.
I only have had mine adjusted 2x. In the very beginning appts. I haven't needed it for awhile. I mean Tiffany, it was insist relief. It was unbelievable! To be able to drive, to be able to walk out into husbands hot glass shop and not worry about getting vertigo and dizzeness.
Let me know how the hunt goes.
Have a good night!

Hi Diane:
Thanks for the information. I will begin calling and seeing what I can find near me. This splint is working out so well. I am having less pain, have had no headaches (knock on wood) and my jaw does not pop every time I open my mouth. I am very encouraged by the progress. I never dreamed it could begin working this quickly. I consider it a miracle. I'll keep you guys updated on my progress.
Thanks,
Tiffany
