hello everyone. well today was great till i got to the orthodontist, i walked right in an was seated no waiting, he ask how my splints were fitting an i told him, should have keep my mouth shut realy,i said my lower splint is a bit lose at the front an food gets stuck there , he said i can fix that we can bulid that up i said ok, then after my exam wich things were good, he looked at my teeth agian an said let me do somthing better , he said looks like you have a few open spaces at these molors i need to close them i said ok , then he starts to tightens up my metal powerchain on my braces , an then goes an gets a very heavy rubber powerchain an puts it on the molors an pulls them foward OUCH OUCH my teeth on the bottom are so sore then after he is done with that he tells me that my next visit he will install a bond a permanet plate behind my upper teeth so i can never have an overbite agian, has anyone got one of these installed, then he told me i still need my BRACES on an my hg for another year, also at the next visit he is going to make molds agian to change my upper splint, guess i have a ways to go but i realy don't care NO TMJ PAIN so i'll put up with braces , thanks for letting me vent guys, joseph martin
