does anyone have chest pains...is it due to tmj?how come my fingers are so stiff when i play the piano?i cannot control my fingers at times. when i play the piano, my fingers just slipped.

Paxy, I use to get chest pains and shortness of breath. I also was very clumsey with my hands and even walking. My problem, muscular. ALso, I think fear of not knowing for so long what was wrong with me, didn't help matters at all. I am seeing a neuromuscular dentist, who immediately put me on a myotronic tens unit and then about 3-4 weeks later I received my splint. I no longer have chest pain or shortness of breath. Have you checked with a Dr about the chest pains yet, to make sure your heart is okay? TMD is an awful thing Paxy, it effects so many different parts of our bodies. Have you found someone to treat you yet?

if you're having chest pains, i'd definitely go see a doctor especially if you also have high cholesterol or blood pressure or you're overweight.
it's better to play it safe to make sure it's not a heart attack. :)
