HI everyone,
Im new to this board but glad I found it.. I've been sick for yrs with Lyme Disease 2 other tick infections and candida.. I've been told over the yrs I also have TMJ but I never believed it well afew mos ago another doctor said to me you have a pretty bad case of TMJ, well I had heard this before so I was like yeah yeah I've been told.. Well this morning is the SECOND morning this week my jaw hurts SO much I can barely open my mouth. Right side and it's also causing ear pain.. Anything that can be done? Thanks so much

i'd start by getting a proper diagnosis and go from there. in the meantime, you could try out massage therapy, physical therapy, and/or osteoapthy to get some relief.
i like using cold to ice my sore muscles, but some people like moist heat - just dont do it for very long.
umm.. that's all i can think of so far to do immediately. i'd try to find a competent dentist to help you, and dont do anything irreverisble or drastic before exhausting all of the conservative options. :)
