Can tooth pain be from TMJ??? I would really like to know for the past few days now my teeth have been hurting. It will last for like 5 minutes and then it will go away. Do any of you have this???
Thanks!

Yes, I have tooth pain. I am thinking that it is from grinding or clenching my teeth at night. I plan to talk to my orthodontist tomorrow about one tooth in the back that is sensitive.

Hi:
Yes, I will have this happen as well. I have over time learned that the tooth pain is related to TMJ rather than being a real "tooth" problem. I will have pain in one area for awhile and it will go away and return some time later, usually in an entirely different tooth.

Thanks for replying~~
First off Tiffany:
That is exactly how my tooth pain is, it will be in the back of my mouth and then 1 hour later it's in the front!! I find it weird but I guess not.
Next off Michelle:
My ortho recommended I get braces but I feel like they will make my problem worse. I don't feel comfortable right know to get them! LOL I would like to try splint therapy first!
Seeya all later
