Thanks for the heads up on the back forum. I just saw exactly what's going on with my back problems. Within 2 posts I read exactly the same information that's on my MRI and Myelogram. (and I understood these posts)

Hey Elane, Sue and all,
I just thought I would pop on here for a few minutes tonight. I wish i were able to post more often. It's like I'm here one day then gone for weeks at a time. It's not that i do not care it's just I have been really sick lately. Too sick to really even be online for any given length of time. I made a few posts tonight, i hope that i did not step on any toes. I do not want anyone to be mad at me for being so anti -surgery. When I read of some of these people and thier situations it reminds me of myself. I wish i would have had warnings way back when. I feel so anrgy now. I keep thinking of the person who posted about Dr. Piper. Elaine, I know you have heard about him right? UGH! Who is he to brag about doing more tmj surgeries then anyone in the world? Is that something to brag about?????? Even my OS says that tmj surgery should be avoided at all cost and he only does surgeries in patients who have no choice, patients who have already been ruined by those crappy christensens, and all that other implant junk. I think we want to be "fixed" so badly that when we meet a Doctor who claims to be the best in the world, it really lures us in, you know what i mean? It sounds so appealing. We all want to be well. I'm at a loss for words right now. I have to go, I'll keep in touch.
Be well,
Sharri

Sharri,
I agree, we all want to be fixed so badly that one of these surgeons come along bragging how many surgeries they have done, we think, "oh, this is my answer". We don't stop to think of the result of all these surgeries. I have heard of Piper, Nancy went to him. She is a mess and has the chin of Jay Leno.
Sharri, I hope you are doing better. I hope you will get back to posting. You have some valuable information to contribute to this forum. It is called
