hey guys... Ihave been dealing with tmj since july. this is the third really bad spell this month, though. I have horrible pain and spasms. i am taking 3000mgs of ibuprofen a day and it isn't helping. i have to sleep on a hot water bottle, and it is such sporadic sleep because of the pain. i don't have health or dental insurance, and there is noooo money to spend to pay for even an examination. i was diagnosed in the emergency room because i thought i had broken my jaw. so does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this for all us broke peoples out there that can't afford dr. treatments??? please let me know something. and how do i get it across to my family that thinks i am being a baby about this pain? i just hold the side of my face and rock and cry... it is real!
