Does any here know of anyone(doctors who deal with tmj) in the ohio area, that are any good? (in the general Dayton ,Springfield, Columbus area?)Specifically those that might have any speciality or understanding with patients who have discs removed and had problems thereafter?Any help in this is greatly appreciated and needed. thanks cally22..

There seem to be a variety people to see, I'm not sure whether you're looking for a dentist, OS....or what?? I read your other post which you said that you were seeing an oral surgeon. I'm not sure if this helps or not, but there is a Dr. Wesley Shankland in Columbus.

I just read your post and the follow up and I've heard of Dr. Shankland also. He has written books and is one of foremost experts on tmj that I know of. I;m actually surprised hes as close as he is, and I live in Pittsburgh myself and am considering seeing him myself. I've already started my orthodontics but I believe its good to have a seperate tmj doctor monitor the results as you get closer. He also has a website online and he is very well known like I said concerning tmj. Hope that helps, talk to you later.
