have u guys ever felt that ur jaw is out of place? i have an open bite. sometimes it feels so uncomfortable/weird. It is like i am not closing my mouth in the right way, and my tongue feels stiff, lack of space at times. at times i felt that my nasal passageways are distorted too. i do not know how to describe. but my nose, the air passage, cheek bones feels weird. has anyone felt the same way b4?

How big is your open bite?
I have difficulty closing my mouth because I have a 2 mm open bite and a splint that increases my open bite to approx 5 mm. So, yeah, I feel weird too. :O)
As for everything else...it depends on the day. On bad days, my jaw feels out of whack and my cheeks have this numb/swollen feeling. But I've never experienced anything around my nasal passages...knock on wood.

my openbite is huge with my splint - it's about 8 mm. i feel pretty stupid when i smile, since my teeth are so separated. needless to say, my face feels weird.
