My sister has been diagnosed with IC and I'm really not sure what this is or what can be done. Is this heredity? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks

ABC, interstitial cystitis is a bladder disease. The person who was before me gave you a very good website. I go there often. I have IC. I am currently taking elmiron... for 6 months. There are side effect. It might work it might not. I hoping for the best. IC is a very misunderstood disease. All tests appear normal. Only a Urologist can diagnose this. Go to the website for research it really informative.It is not heriditary.
