I am considering two treatment options for my BPH condition: the TUNA procedure, and the TARGIS procedure. Anyone out there have either of these done? I would be much obliged if you would email me at eli_fx@yahoo.com. Thanks so much.

Tonight I talked to a 77 year old man who had BPH surgery on Sept. 11. He had a combination of procedures. Transurethral vaporization of the prostate(about 40 percent of the prostate is removed) and TURP. This combination surgery requires about 90 minutes to complete and 1 day in the hospital. He was happy with the results. Also only slightly painful. His flow has increased substantially and awakes only once thru the night. This is about 9 days after the operation and he says he's driving his car.I do not have knowledge of the other procedures.
