I was having sex and as i ejaculated my left testicle seemed to raise up out of the sac above. I noticed it and then pushed it down into the sac. There is no pain, no blood in urine and everything seems fine. Is this a serious problem? Can anyone give me any information on this or give their own experience if you have any? Thanks.

It's normal for the testicles to retract up towards the body just before and during ejaculation. They are supposed to do that. However, they are not supposed to actually go inside the abdomen. If one or more of the testicles goes inside the abdomen, it could be a sign of a hernia. It is a potential problem in that it could get stuck up there, and the extra body heat can damage the testicle.

Are you sure it was inside your body? Because sometimes it just seems like it is all the way up there, but its just the scrotum is so tight that it seems that way - its actually still outside the abdomen.

My left testicle also inches upward when I ejaculate. I too never had any pain when I notice it's happening. I actually like the "pat" my balls get when having sex as they pat my spouse with each thrust.

I wouldn't worry so much about it.
