I saw on one of the other post that your husband had gastric bypass. I did too. I have been wondering if maybe the addiction came after the surgery. That is when all of mine started. I had never touched a pain pill before I had surgery. After I had lost 60 lbs. my spine became unalighned (sp.?) causing major back pain that I still have. I am just wondering if his addiction came after the surgery or before. If you don't mind me asking~

yes, he had complications following surgery, collapsed lung, pneumonia, 3 chest tubes, i could go on and on, he was sent home with a neverending script for vicodin and ativan and there it began, he has lost 200 pounds almost however, with what we have gone through sometimes i just want my old hubby back, before the surgery but i know he can get better with my help.keep posting, i hope i answered your question.
