i am presently using an ACE inhibitor(Ramipril ,also known as Tritace, 5mg/day) for hypertension. Can this cause difficulty in achieving and maintaining an erection?
Also are there any problems using viagra while on ACE inhibitors? ANYONE OUT THERE WITH ADVICE!

I had to stop taking it because of the side effects. Errection was the least of my worries when taking it. I should not have been taking it anyway, I since found out that it is not prescribed correctly by a lot of doctors. You are on 20mg a day, that is what I was on but could not handle it.
You do know that you should stay away from potassium salts and a lot of different drugs? You should also drink a LOT of water while taking this drug. It interfered with me in so many ways, I could only take it a bedtime. As far as errections, I was to screwed up to worry about them, so I can not give you an answer...But I will tell you that Viagra WILL lower your blood pressure.
So, if you already are taking a drug that does the same thing, you might pass out. I finally got my BP under control with diet and exercise and now take a quarter of a 100mg tablet of Viagra when I need to. I tried the 50mg and it was WAY too much..I would hate to even think about taking 100mg.
Good luck..
