It's all good with this Viagra stufff...but has anyone heard or read anything about performance becoming dependent on it after some time. Basically a 'no Viagra, no erection state'? And what about tolerance? any eveidence (so far) to suggest that over time, one will need an increasing dosage to get the same effect? info please!

There is nothing proven about either of those conditions. But, this is a new drug and I don't believe they are even doing any more studies on it.
Like anything...you can brainwash yourself into believing anything.
I used to think I could'nt perform well unless I had a couple of beers or drinks.
Unless you have ED, Viagra is not recommended. It is not a drug to be used to "enhance" it is to be used to "enable".

Believe me Viagra DOES ENHANCE!
The doc gave me a sample of the stuff after I had hernia surgery, and was having some trouble having an erection because everything down there sort of felt numb.
After taking that stuff I had got a boner that was as hard as a baseball bat. Definately harder than normal, or even when I was a teen. It also was longer and thicker as well.

CD,
If you were "having some trouble having an errection" all it did was enable you to have a normal errection. Blood circulation problems increase with operations, poor life style choices (drinking, smoking), age, obesity (sp)and other health factors such as high blood pressure).
Also, you need to be aware of the power of the mind. In testing (studies) a sample group was given sugar pills and within that group a considerable percentage showed improvement in their ED difficulities.
Peace

Good post Genie,
I also was able to reduce my dosage by disolving it under my tongue. That sure helps out in the old pocket book.
The advertised dosage of 50mg (or even 100mg,heaven forbid) I think is way too much. If your problem with ED is caused by poor blood cirulation and valve dysfunction a 25mg (or even 12.5mg) can do the trick.
If it is caused by additional problems the only way is to start low and work up in bigger doses. At the low dose, I have never had any side effects. The one time I took 50mg (when I first used V) I had the vision color side effect and flushing of the face, chest and hands. It was way too much..
Peace

Hey TD. the only side affects I've had is being totally congested after I stop having sex. I usually would take in between 50 and 100 mgs.

If I understand your situation...you should not be taking more than 12.5 or 25mg at a time. If you just have to take it.

When dosage is mentioned poster should indicate if V is taken orally or under the tongue. To my understanding V dosage can be reduced in 1/2 with same results if taken under the tongue. Can anyone verify the following statements. During U.S. clinical trials overdosing was done with 800mgs of viagra. The Canadian clinical trails were conducted using 200mg as a standard dosage. I think I remember seeing these statements on the internet.

Here is mfgs. report on different trials on Viagra. About 2/3 way in report, there is a mention of limited data available on 800mg overdoses. Side effects were observed but report does not indicate severity.
