My husband is taking Lisinopril 50mg for hbp. He wants to take viagra 50mg ocassionally with it. I am concerned about using these 2 drugs together. He is 61 and is in good health. Any advice.

He of course should talk to his doctor first (that is who he will get his prescription for Viagra from anyway).

But many men who take meds for hypertension also take Viagra.

The consideration is, Viagra will LOWER his blood pressure. Just as long as it does not go too low it should be ok, if it goes too low he might pass out and/or have other complications.

He should start with a very low dose. Take one 100mg tablet and split it into quarters. Take the one 25mg dose and see if it has the desired results.

This is of course only my opinion.

Read some of the other posts here for additional info.
Peace
